Is Thanksgiving best enjoyed when someone else prepares it?
Someone has to devour and enjoy it (ME)!

Maybe it is the media -net included- but where are the gluttons??? This proud glutton needs a posse. The impression I get it is that everyone makes their own turkeys and meals and talks about it, but where is the pack o' hungry wolves?

For American Thanksgivig I did what a couple hundred others in O-town did.
Got the noon flu and deserted work to go eat drink and watch football!
A buddy of mine is a CFL Hall of famer (Canehjian Football) but was a superstar in the 60's at Oklahoma when Bud Wilkinson was winning NCAA Champs with Ken the Snake Stabler. So now he owns Local Heroes and throws a big American Thanksgiving Bash with free turkey meals all day. And that has become my tradition too!

Skip work in the afty and drink and drown in poultry.

Canadian Thanksgiving is the first Sunday in October.... and to everyones relief there is NO shopping madness attached to the holiday. For many folks it is cottage close up time but with Fall leaves reaching their full colour it's usually the prettiest time of year and a great day to drive and see the colours.

(*I hope chalicewick ate turkey and did not feast on chalicechicken yesterday).

My sincere regards and best wishes, as well as thanks to all of Peacebangs flock!

What got theCSO's mom and I was the Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang lady who looked like the love child of Ms. Applegate and Julia Andrews.

Now there's a native American lady singing on top of a giant haeddress.

Makes me think of that freaking hilarious death scene in "Drop Dead Gorgeous."

But that may indicate I am not properly in the spirit of things.

Oh, look! Here comes the Sesame Street Muppets!

I heart The Count's hat.

CC
