The Curse
December 19, 2005 on 9:36 pm | In Uncategorized |We’re at that point in the church office where we’re checking carol lyrics and deciding how many verses of what is going into the Christmas Eve service.
I went into gales of laughter remembering some of the faces the year we forgot to snip out the third verse of “Joy To The World:”
No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found,
Far as the curse is found,
Far as, far as, the curse is found!

My favorite part was how PB went from “I’m finally in the Christmas spirit to hating humanity in like a day.
My Christmas spirit isn’t very long lasting either.

It’s so true. So true. A very small window on that Christmas Spirit, indeed.
BTW, ChaliceChick, your card was the best. Ever. If you mass produced it I would buy 50 of them next year.
