I posted my comments to his posting over at Chalice Chick’s blog.
I have a friend who this guy sounds EXACTLY like. There are no obstacles between him and his dreams that I believe are insurmountable, so I’m a little peeved by the amount of complaining. I haven’t quite shaken the whole idea of gratitude and counting one’s blessings. Why does it always seem as though the people with so much are always complaining?

wow, rev. peacebang, you and i have the same retirement plan, except i plan to be a bruja in providence. i’m a member of first uu and a fan of joe bageant, too.
i work in a nursing home, it usually doesn’t smell, but it’s no one’s first choice of a place to live. i think that the worst limiting factor in the resident’s lives is the disability itself, mental more than physical.
so i guess we should just eat our veggies and practice our cards.
