My Sensitive Toothpaste

September 25, 2006 on 3:24 am | In Uncategorized |

I bought some Tom’s of Maine Natural Sensitive toothpaste today.
The label says,
“Natural
sensitive.”

I imagine that every time I unscrew the cap, I’ll hear this voice going, “How are your teeth feeling today, hon? How’s hot and cold going for you? Any pain?”

  1. Ha! Mitchum deoderant has an ad campaign on the subway here that has ads that say things like:

If you read the sports section on the train, you’re a Mitchum Man.

If you leave it for the next guy, you’re a Mitchum Sensitive Man.

I picked a mild example. Some of the actual ads are pretty sexist, as tends to happen with acho products like Men’s deoderant, but I think the idea for the campaign is sort of cute.

  2. That is kind of cute. Not like the ad for the hair products that say things like, “Help! My hair is as limp as my boyfriend after too many drinks!”
I saw that and threw the magazine away from myself in horror. What trash! YIKES! Is this how we now entice girls to buy cosmetics? By speaking like crass tramps?

    PeaceBang is NOT amused!
