I've been lurking for months but this one absolutely requires me to comment. I've been slowly recognizing my own call to UU ministry, and reading your blog has been helping me to realize the possibilities. You are inspiring, and I hope to be able to carry the message that you articulate so well in this sermon into my ministry - whether it becomes professional or not. Thank you so much!

Just what I needed today. I snuck my earbuds into work today since it was a quiet day and all I had to do was fold and stuff 500 letters -- I had to stop at a couple of points for a tissue and to not guffaw outloud. ;-)

This is awesome! And what laughter from the congregation; they really seemed to be with you. And I loved the message and it made me feel much better about certain gaps in my own theological knowledge and my own attempts that sometimes seem feeble to me.
